Being nervous for my first time, Paula did a great job at reassuring me. She is exceptionally knowledgeable and professional. She did an excellent job with acupuncture and cupping. I will definitely be back and would recommend 10/10 times.

I have been seeing Dr Lima for over two years now and have really enjoyed working with her. I have seen many many Drs over the last 14 years since being diagnosed with Hashimotos and I have seen the most help with her than anyone else. When I came to her I was sleeping horribly, having multiple periods a month, had acne, weight gain, and depression. Since working with her I have seen huge improvements in my sleep, my skin has cleared up, my period is more regular and my depression and anxiety are much better if not gone. It has taken a long time to figure out my health but I do feel she is invested in helping me and I have seen huge differences in my overall health and happiness. I love that she is a real Dr who practices more naturally. You aren't going to get muscle testing done here. She is legit and is willing to keep learning to help her patients. She is the only Dr I've had who hasn't cared more about my weight than she does my over all health. My weight is a symptom not the cause and I appreciate that she concentrates on the cause. The only negatives for me is that she doesn't take insurance and her new practice is over a half an hour drive for me now when she was 8 minutes before. But she is worth the cost and the drive!

Dr. Lima was very thorough and listened to all my concerns very closely. I am excited to work with her on optimizing my health and everything is looking UP! Kiersten is always smiling and I appreciate the care she took in drawing my blood, I didn't even feel it! I attended a skin care class at Essence Medical Center back in September of last year. Dr. Lima and her Medical Assistant Kiersten were very informative and thorough during the class. I was able to learn how to properly apply skin care to my face. Also, I purchased the Alumiers Purifying Gel Cleanser - Facial Cleanser and night cream for my eyes with a wonderful discount. I’ve been using those products daily and nightly since September and my face looks and feels wonderful. I highly recommend booking services with Essence Medical Center, you won’t be disappointed.

I had an amazing experience at Essence Medical Center! The staff was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. I received an IV drip and a facial, and both were top-notch. The IV therapy was administered smoothly, no issues and I felt the benefits almost immediately. My facial was relaxing and left my skin feeling refreshed and rejuvenated. Dr. Lima and Kiersten were so welcoming and addressed all of my questions and concerns. I will be coming back and recommend Essence Medical Center to anyone looking for high-quality care.

After a long search for supplemental care, Dr. Lima and team have provided excellent naturopathic options to a variety of my health situations over the last couple of months. I really enjoy the care and compassion they give to their patients, listening along with doing the necessary tests instead of jumping to conclusions early. Bonus for being able to offer herbal supplements in house with their location being inside Nature's Health Shoppe store so that all my needs are met in one place. Essence Medical Center also has a great website that offers explanations in detail for all of their offerings that helps with making decisions early before discussions begin on treatments. Worth a visit if you have been frustrated with other general doctor care or are looking for alternative health.
