New Patients

New Patient Consultation

During your New Patient Consultation Dr. Lima will perform a comprehensive intake and examination, in order to gather vital information and history of your symptom(s). This office visit takes about 1 hour. Based on your symptom(s) a list of blood work may be requested to further evaluate your diagnosis. Blood drawn in office is processed via a cash-based lab services, payment for this service is due at your initial consultation. A lab requisition form can be provided if you would like to use your insurance for blood work.

Follow Up Consultation

During your Follow Up visit, we will review your lab results, conclude a diagnosis, and create an individualized naturopathic treatment plan to help you achieve your health goals. This office visit typically lasts 30 45mins.

Acupuncture

Chinese Medicine is a great way to combat pain from injuries, work-life stress, and overall body imbalances. This office visit lasts 30 mins, during this time you can select Acupuncture, Gua-Sha, or Cupping to be done to best adjust your needs. Click here for further information.

Payment

Essence Medical Center does not process insurance, we do accept HSA/FSA, credit cards, cash, or check for your office visit. You will be provided with a receipt and can try utilizing that for a claim for reimbursement with your insurance company. Each plan is different in their coverage, it is advised you contact your insurance to see how we can best assist you. Labs are typically covered, a lab requisition form can be provided for blood work to be done at your insurances preferred lab company. All payments are due at the time of service.

Cancellation Policy

In order to provide optimal care equally to all patients we do implement a Cancellation Policy. Please notify the office, via phone or email only (text messages not allowed!) If you cannot make your appointment, within 24 hours working day of your appointment time. “No Show” and same-day cancellation will be charged 50% of consultation fee or $60 if you are scheduled for other procedures.

Late Policy

Any patients that 15+ minutes late to their scheduled appointment is subject to rescheduling.
